Around 2:30 p.m., word leaked that the verdict in the Johannes Mehserle murder trial would be read at 4 p.m.—the news set off a mass exodus of residents that was just short of resembling a panic, reported the San Francisco Chronicle. Community organizers and other activists had been out in full force—agitating and instigating. “We are outraged,” said the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. A new US Senate Bill would grant the President far-reaching emergency powers to seize control of, or even shut down, portions of the internet. The legislation says that companies such as broadband providers, search engines or software firms that the US Government selects "shall immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed" by the Department of Homeland Security. On yesterday’s Alex Jones Show, there was an extremely philosophical moment for Jones as he discussed the “digesting of truth” that must inevitably be done. Words cannot substitute one’s own realization of the truth. Jones admits he feels powerless and a failure for not being able to convey the magnitude of the reality in which we live. For some, it is argued, that accepting the big picture means accepting that the entire world as you know it is “wrong”, a lie, and for that reason people are not willing to look at the big picture. It is hard to allow the truth that has always been there to be accepted. It is difficult for some to take the time to watch video after video, repeatedly of the WTC buildings collapsing, and coming to the realization that there is only one logical reason. It is also hard to accept the fact that the Oklahoma bombing could also be the work of the criminal and corrupt, working in conspiracy. But those like Jones and others have done the research and the soul-searching, and they have positioned themselves to accept a reality that must inevitably come from within. The homework must be done!

There was a recent story in the news about the owner of the Arizona Suns renaming his team “Los Suns” in solidarity with the illegal aliens and as a protest against the new Arizona immigration law #1070. Information is still coming in about the crash of the Polish Tu-154 at Smolensk with President Kaczynski and a good part of the Polish government on board. There seems to be an organized effort to blame the pilot for the crash claiming that President Kaczynski pressured him to land under impossible conditions. The first strange piece of information that has come out was that the airport at Smolensk reportedly does not have an Instrument Landing System (ILS). Considering how horrendous the weather can be in Russia during winter and spring and fall, it’s stunning to hear that a significant European city of 330,000 people does not have an airport with an ILS. One excuse is that the airport was an ex-military airbase. Which raises the question: “Were the Russians letting their $30 million dollar Sukhoi Su-27 fighters land there without an Instrument Landing System?” - James Buchanan

Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years. Truly, he is the savior of America's future. He is the best thing ever. Despite the fact that he has some of the lowest approval ratings among recent presidents, history will see Barack Obama as the source of America's resurrection. Barack Obama has plunged the country into levels of debt that we could not have previously imagined; his efforts to nationalize health care have been met with fierce resistance nationwide; TARP bailouts and stimulus spending have shown little positive effect on the national economy; unemployment is unacceptably high and looks to remain that way for most of a decade; legacy entitlement programs have ballooned to unsustainable levels, and there is a seething anger in the populace. That's why Barack Obama is such a good thing for America. Obama is the symbol of a creeping liberalism that has infected our society like a cancer for the last 100 years.
