Big Pharma researcher admits to faking dozens of research studies for Pfizer, Merck

It’s being called the largest research fraud in medical history. Dr. Scott Reuben, a former member of Pfizer’s speakers’ bureau, has agreed to plead guilty to faking dozens of research studies that were published in medical journals.
Now being reported across the mainstream media is the fact that Dr. Reuben accepted a $75,000 grant from Pfizer to study Celebrex in 2005. His research, which was published in a medical journal, has since been quoted by hundreds of other doctors and researchers as “proof” that Celebrex helped reduce pain during post-surgical recovery. There’s only one problem with all this: No patients were ever enrolled in the study!
Dr. Scott Reuben, it turns out, faked the entire study and got it published anyway.

Why should Americans believe anything coming out of Washington?

Washington is the largest publishing center of war rhetoric and sword rattling the world has ever seen. It eclipse’s even the war rhetoric of The Soviet Union and the U.S. combined during any point in the cold war. Today’s rhetoric is more pronounced than President Kennedy’s Cuban Missile crisis. The rhetoric and threats really do not make any sense when you look at what is being said and the promises that have been broken by this President.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton seems to be the mouthpiece for this verbal diarrhea when she traveled to Doha, Qatar and on to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to make slimly veiled threats and war announcements. She was asked, by reporters, if the U.S. had intentions of attacking Iran where she answered, “NO”. Since she is known for saying the opposite of what is really happening, my feeling is that they do have plans for an invasion without true negotiations and their minds are made up. Statements from The White House have indicated this also. This feeling is also due to interviews with several people, including people close to Obama, who have said that Obama needs to attack Iran to be reelected in 2012.

The Census and Despotism

“There went out a decree from Caesar Augustus,” says St. Luke on why Mary and Joseph found themselves in Bethlehem, “that all the world should be taxed.” Joseph had to go to his own city because the tyrannical Roman government was conducting a census. But the information may have been used for more than just taxation. The Roman government’s local ruler later decided he wanted to find the Christ child and kill Him.
Did the government make use of census data to find out where the members of the House of David were? We can’t know for sure, although a later Roman despot did. But we can know that Joseph made a huge error in obeying the census takers in the first place. They were up to no good. In fact, another group of religious Jews in Judea decided that they would not comply with the Roman government’s demand to count and tax them. The group was known as the “Zealots” (yes, that’s where the word came from). They saw complying with the census as equivalent to submitting to slavery. Many ended up paying for their principled stand with their lives.

An Examination of Carbon, Carbon Dioxide, Land Use and the Backdoor Condemnation of Private Property Rights
Bush didn’t have to sign the Kyoto Protocol. The plan is in effect.
This exposé, if you will, is composed to shine light on Carbon, Carbon Dioxide and the “sequestration” thereof. In order to fully comprehend the enormity of what our thought leaders have constructed we have to go back to a few basic concepts and definitions of what now have become so engrained we fail to question, or dissect the “matter” at hand.

Some of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s closest aides, none of whom faced Senate confirmation, earned millions of dollars a year working for Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Citigroup Inc. and other Wall Street firms, according to financial disclosure forms.
The advisers include Gene Sperling, who last year took in $887,727 from Goldman Sachs and $158,000 for speeches mostly to financial companies, including the firm run by accused Ponzi scheme mastermind R. Allen Stanford. Another top aide, Lee Sachs, reported more than $3 million in salary and partnership income from Mariner Investment Group, a New York hedge fund.

It’s too late for anyone to pretend that the U.S. government, whether under President Barack Obama or anyone else, can divert our nation from long-term economic decline. The U.S. is increasingly in a state of political, economic, and moral paralysis, caught as it were between the “rock” of protracted recession and the “hard place” of terminal government debt.
Even if the stock market can be shored up by more government borrowing for “stimulus” spending, it’s a temporary reprieve, because nothing can bring back the consumer purchasing power that was lost when the banks stopped pumping money into the economy through out-of-control mortgage lending. We simply no longer have the job base for people to earn the income they need to live.

Heart Disease - Beyond The Stent & Bypass

Summary
Once upon a time, by the turn of the last century, flying in the face of over a hundred years of research and clinical observation to the contrary, medicine abandoned the link between infection and atherosclerotic heart disease; not because it was ever proven wrong, but because it did not fit in with the trends of a medical establishment convinced that chronic disease such as heart disease must be multifactorial, degenerative and non-infectious.
Yet it was the very inability of 'established' risk factors such as hypercholesterolemia, hypertension and smoking to fully explain the incidence and trends in cardiovascular disease that resulted in historically repeated calls to search out an infectious cause, a search that began more than a century ago.
Today, half of US heart attack victims have acceptable cholesterol levels and 25% or more have none of the "risk factors" associated with heart disease, including smoking, high blood pressure or obesity, most of which are not inconsistent with being caused by infection [7,56].
Even the traditionalist's 2003 assault in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) to 'debunk' what they call the "50% risk factor myth" [20] fell woefully short under scrutiny. In one group 30% died of heart disease with a cholesterol of at least 240 mg/dl, a condition which also existed in 21% who did not die during the same period. And the overlap was obvious throughout the so-called risk categories. Under such scrutiny, lead author Greenland conceded that if obesity, inactivity and elevated cholesterol in the elderly are included, just about everyone has a risk factor and he likened the dilemma of people who do or do not wind up with heart disease akin to the susceptibility of people who are exposed and at one time contract tuberculosis, but do not presently have active disease.

Temporal Blindness And Over-Populatoin In America

Cap and trade? Will it work? Not a chance! Screw in a mercury, curly-cue bulb to save electricity! Will that stop carbon emissions? Sorry! Drive a Prius for greater fuel efficiency? Only delays the inevitable! Add more lanes to Los Angeles' freeways to solve gridlock? That's like a four hundred pound man facing a heart attack-unbuckling his belt to allow more room for his bulging belly. That's a tragic choice!
"TEMPORAL BLINDNESS is a limitation in cognitive process. People with temporal blindness cannot gather and process available information into predictions of future conditions. Their processes cannot connect future conditions to a causing behavior. When their processes do create unpleasant predictions, and identify the causal behavior, they fail to create enough present meaning for the future conditions to motivate a change in that behavior." When our leaders have no awareness of the disastrous consequences of their actions, they can claim ignorance and take no action.
Or when our leaders have no hard evidence as to what might happen in the future, they can at least claim uncertainty.
But when they have full knowledge of an impending disaster … they have proof of its inevitability in ANY scenario … and they so declare in their official reports … but STILL don’t lift a finger to change course … then they have only one remaining claim:
INSANITY!

Doctors Concerned FluMist Vaccine Could Spread Live H1N1 Virus

Doctors and hospitals are expressing concern that the FluMist vaccine could endanger people because it contains live H1N1 virus, unlike the injectable shot that contains antibodies. With no less than 60 per cent of the U.S. population immunodeficient in one way or another, could FluMist be a pandemic waiting to happen?
Hospitals in Colorado and elsewhere are shunning the FluMist H1N1 vaccine, a nasal spray that contains live swine flu virus, because of fears it could infect people with weakened immune systems and underlying health conditions.
“Several metro area hospitals said they won’t be taking the FluMist because they don’t want to endanger patients,” reports TheDenverChannel.com.
Lois VanFleet, infection prevention specialist at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, expressed concern that doctors and nurses who inhaled the live virus could infect patients whose immune systems are compromised.
However, H1N1 FluMist is being rolled out nationwide from this week, including at “drive-through clinics” across the country where the nasal spray is administered while people sit in their cars with their window wide open.
