New developments at the UN’s International Summit on Climate Change have threatened to further side track a meaningful Treaty next week in Copenhagen. Known as the Danish Text Leak , a story that broken yesterday by the UK’s Guardian Newspaper, it details a secret agreement that effectively disbands the Kyoto protocol’s original plan to have so called ‘developed’ nations like the US and Europe foot the bill for global emissions reductions, as well contravening the UN’s own traditional mission to provide a “balance of obligations”. In surreal fashion, this secretive group calling themselves “the circle of commitment” and whose members are said to include high ranking individuals from countries including the US, UK and Denmark, compiled a secret draft plan which hands control of “climate change finance” to none other than the World Bank. - Patrick Henningsen
An Examination of Carbon, Carbon Dioxide, Land Use and the Backdoor Condemnation of Private Property Rights Bush didn’t have to sign the Kyoto Protocol. The plan is in effect. This exposé, if you will, is composed to shine light on Carbon, Carbon Dioxide and the “sequestration” thereof. In order to fully comprehend the enormity of what our thought leaders have constructed we have to go back to a few basic concepts and definitions of what now have become so engrained we fail to question, or dissect the “matter” at hand. - Genevieve Moore
“Broadcasters play a vital role by informing and educating the public about the realities of climate change and the costs of inaction. Armed with information, citizens are better equipped to push for meaningful and responsible follow-through from their elected representatives. This is all the more essential in the final days before Copenhagen.” Statement by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for UNESCO’s International Conference on Broadcast Media and Climate Change At a UNESCO conference in September of this year on how to best sell the global warming hoax to selected target audiences, spokesman and media-manager of the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change Eric Hall called for the creation of “an imagination, and a vision” through works of fiction for people to chew on in the run-up and exceeding the Copenhagen conference next week. - Jurriaan Maessen
President Obama just made a melodramatic appeal at the United Nations for global measures to dramatically curb what he called “the climate threat,” current euphemism for what is more popularly known as Global Warming, the theory that man-made CO2 emissions from cars, coal plants and other man-made sources are causing the earth to warm to the point the polar icecaps are irreversibly melting and threatening to flood a quarter or more of the earth’s surface. There’s only one thing wrong with Mr. Obama’s dramatic scenario: it is scientifically utterly wrong. Since 2007 the polar icecaps have been growing not melting and the earth has been cooling, not warming.
‘A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.’ – Ted Turner to Audubon Magazine, 1996- In an April 18th 2009 article on the development of GM-Food for the African continent, ‘Strange Fruit: Could genetically modified foods offer a solution to the world’s food crisis? the author mentions that the Rockefeller Foundation has recently set out to fund the process of ‘biofortified rice’ for third world nations, invented by a Swiss scientist named Ingo Potrykus. -Jurriaan Maessen
In an interview with Bloomberg’s Jim Efstathiou Jr., Barack Obama’s energy adviser, Jason Grumet, said if elected Obama will classify carbon dioxide as a dangerous pollutant. Obama will tell the Environmental Protection Agency that it may use the 1990 Clean Air Act to set emissions limits, according to Grumet, and he will likely do this immediately upon taking office, David Bookbinder, chief climate counsel for the Sierra Club told Bloomberg. -Kurt Nimmo

The Kyoto Protocol and Global Warming

The Kyoto Protocol was set up in a session of the United Nations in Japan in the year 1997. This initiative was set forth to reduce harmful emissions and to lessen global warming. It was adopted and contains goals for emissions that are legally binding for the countries involved.
